At Yarrawonga Football Netball Club, our junior netball programs are where lifelong skills, friendships, and Pigeon pride begin.
We’re committed to developing confident, connected, and competitive young players who love their netball — whether they’re taking the court for the first time or chasing selection in our Ovens and Murray League squads.
Yarrawonga proudly competes in the Ovens and Murray Football Netball League (O&M) with teams in both Under 15 and Under 17 age groups.
These girls represent the Pigeons every Saturday alongside our senior grades — playing high-quality country netball against the region’s strongest clubs.
Our O&M program provides a clear pathway to senior netball, supported by expert coaches, dedicated volunteers, and mentoring from current and former A Grade players.

Our preseason intensives focus on skill, strength, and teamwork — with sessions combining fitness, technical drills, and leadership development.
Trials follow in November, where players demonstrate their growth and commitment as they compete for selection in our O&M squads for the upcoming season.
Beneath our O&M competition teams sits a strong, inclusive junior development pathway that gives every child a chance to participate and grow.
Our Spring Netball Competition runs each year at the JC Lowe Courts for U11, U13, and U15 players.
It’s designed as a fun, skills-based program that builds confidence and enjoyment of the game.

The Spring Comp is the perfect way to stay active, make friends, and develop skills in a relaxed environment — ideal for players new to the sport or preparing to transition into competitive O&M grades.
Our junior netballers benefit from direct connection with senior players through:
The Yarrawonga Netball Academy (U15 & U17) — combining 30 minutes of mentoring from senior netballers with 30 minutes of intensive skills training.
Shared training sessions with A Grade coaches to build technical ability, resilience, and confidence.
Leadership and team-building sessions that promote sportsmanship, wellbeing, and self-belief.
This mentoring pathway ensures that our juniors don’t just learn how to play netball — they learn how to represent Yarrawonga with pride and integrity.
